Fun and Fitness for Body and Mind

Ballet based exercises and steps, mime and acting. From favourites such as “Teddy Bears Picnic” to modern chart hits like “LazyTown”. The emphasis is on fun but we also begin to develop some discipline and structure.  Natural movements – Skipping, jumping, running, spinning – are all honed as the basic technique required for both ballet and modern styles.

This style is a combination of stage, jazz and street dance that captures the feeling and energy of current music trends.  Freestyle choreography and ISTD Syllabus work provide the basis of our inspiring classes.  Modern dance develops rhythm, co-ordination, fitness and a sense of performance.  Exams can be taken from 6 years but classes start at 412 years.

One of the most enjoyable and rewarding forms of dance. The hoofers of Vauderville and street entertainers popularised tap dancing and it grew into what we now teach in our ISTD syllabus today.  The steps are taught slowly and by developing good rhythm and a relaxed style, we aim to transform feet into well tuned and toned musical instruments.  Exams can be taken from 6 years but classes start at 5 years.

The joy and wonder of classical dance continues to inspire girls and boys around the world.  These classes allow them to fulfill their dreams whilst aiming to teach them correct posture, poise, muscle tone and co-ordination.  Alongwith an awareness of musical styles, creativity and performance skills, we work towards exams from the age of 6 but classes can start from 412 years upwards.

This is the most up to date style of dance, constantly changing and  using the most current music.  Strong core techniques and a sense of performance are required encouraging students to express their own style and flair.  Freesyle choreography and set syllabus work from the ISTD Jazz Awards form the basis of the classes.

Pretty much the most awesome workput ever.  Dance to great music from all around the world, with great people and burn a ton of calories without realising it.  Created by Colombian dancer and choregrapher Alberto ‘Beto’ Perez, this is a Latin based dance party.  Aimed at adults and older teens, Come and have a shake out with a SMILE !!
