Groove Child helps students quickly get to that place of 'mental and emotional release' through dance. The syllabus is full of exercises that work to enhance a dancer's technique, nurture their creative mind, and grow their potential as performers, but it goes FURTHER. It actively helps them develop healthy mental habits around how they improve and grow through dance; to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, create through being 'playful' and learn to control negative self-talk. These are life skills that make them more resilient through changes and challenges, and more likely to succeed as authentic performers.
